Occupied Nation


Many reading this, or who listen to the show most likely find themselves in a position of being unemployed, or underemployed. As the unemployment numbers show part of the picture, there is the reality that there are many that are not counted in that particular number. There are those that have “fallen off the cliff” so to speak as far as their unemployment  benefits are concerned, and far more that are working in unfavorable positions that are simply not counted as far as what is reported in the media.

In the United States, the richest country in the world, it should be possible for a person to find work that is not only dignified, but is also free of discrimination, cronyism and exploitation. There are many obstacles that are in the way of accomplishing this in our society. Worse yet, most people feel isolated in the endeavor of survival.
